The last 15 years has seen the CC change ownership and move away from the automotive industry to specialise mainly in compressed air technologies for medical, dental, scientific, industrial and graphic applications. In addition the CC continues to supply various engineering commodities to industry throughout South Africa. The name change to Finch-Air was implemented towards the middle of 2001 to afford the company a more relevant title and to reduce confusion with previous interests.
